Description of Flex Sensor 4.5 inch The Flex Sensor 4.5″ is a bend-sensitive variable resistor that changes its resistance as it is bent, making it ideal for detecting motion, angle, or position. When kept flat, it has a nominal resistance of around 60kΩ, which gradually increases up to approximately 110kΩ at a 90° bend, providing smooth and reliable output. Its thin, lightweight, and flexible construction allows easy integration into robotics, wearable electronics, and interactive embedded systems. The sensor operates with low power consumption and can be easily interfaced with microcontrollers using a simple voltage divider, enabling analog signal reading through standard ADC inputs.
