The result is that the High Speed steel has a hardness of 65HRC. That is extremely hard. Typical HSS chisels are 58HRC. A higher hardness level improves wear resistance and edge-holding ability, ensuring that your tools stay sharper for longer, typically 5 times longer than standard HSS chisels.With M2C chisels you spend more time turning: less time sharpening.
